The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the list of test cities for the NEET PG Exam 2024. Candidates preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for postgraduate courses can find the list on the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
Important Update for NEET PG Candidates
NBEMS, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), has taken additional security measures for the NEET PG 2024 examination. Due to these measures, the exam will now be conducted in 185 cities across India.
Changes to Test City and Centre
Candidates who received admit cards for the originally scheduled NEET-PG 2024 exam on June 23, 2024, should note that their previously assigned test city and test centre are no longer valid. All candidates must select their preferred test city again through an online process.
How to Choose Your Test City
From July 19 to July 22, 2024, candidates can log in to the NBEMS website to choose their preferred test cities. Here’s how to do it:
- Visit the official NBEMS website: natboard.edu.in
- Log in using your credentials.
- Select your preferred test city from the list available.
Test City Allotment and Admit Cards
- Allotment Announcement: The list of test cities allocated to candidates will be emailed to their registered email IDs by July 29, 2024.
- Admit Card Release: The final test centre venue within the chosen test city will be mentioned on the admit card, which will be released on August 8, 2024, on the NBEMS website.
NEET PG Exam Date and Shifts
The NEET PG examination is scheduled for August 11, 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – Morning and Afternoon. However, candidates will not have the option to choose their shift. The timings for each shift will be announced later.
Internship Completion Deadline
To be eligible for the NEET PG 2024 exam, candidates must complete their internship by August 15, 2024.
